Asian Contemporary Art @ the Brick Lane gallery.The Contemporary art of Asia has been more and more drawing the worldwide attentions, especially Chinese, Japanese and Korean Contemporary art occupy pivotal position in the field of it. Also, the concept of traditional Western art which people are familiar with has becoming increasingly influenced and infiltrate by the oriental culture.
The Asian Cainozoic assembles almost all the main mediums of art including painting, installation, video etc. All the artworks are created by a bunch of Asian emerging artists who are working and studying in London and most of them graduated from University of the Arts London. Among these artworks, we can experience the energy coming from the cultural integration of the East and the West as well as mutual friction and interesting collision in between different media.
