WANT IT BAD - TORONTO

You've seen some incredibly sexy images over the last few weeks - what we like to call What Women Want.

Now, it's your chance to own pieces by some of the freshest, collectible photographers around.

Noah Kalina (NYC)

Noah first exploded across the blogosphere when he introduced his Everyday series, making him into "that YouTube guy".
Picking up speed from there, Noah's self-reflective images capture and encapsulate the themes of fleeting youth, time and space. His work has been picked up by RollingStone, Seed, ID, Interview Magazine and Esquire, just to drop a few names.

Yuri Dojc (Toronto)

The master eroticist has done and seen it all and is included in the L'espresso collection of the best nude photographers of the world along side Man Ray, Robert Mapplethorpe and Bill Brandt.

Diana Sheunemann (Germany)

Diana Scheunemann is in demand for advertising and editorial campaigns, as well as celebrity portraits. Diana’s spontaneous style generates an unusually idyllic view, which demonstrates her skill and experience from the flawless world of fashion photography. Fashion spreads for Vogue are just the beginning and her works for What Women Want are an incendiary experience into true female beauty and desire.

Leanne Eisen (Toronto)

Is a young, but oft celebrated photographer who has exhibited her at Toronto's Pikto Gallery and during Nuit Blanche at Gallery TPW. Most recently, Leanne won Best Still Life/Abstract at SNAP!09. Leanne's "Looking In" series is a fresh perspective in What Women Want.

Talia Shipman
(Toronto)

For someone having graduated last spring, Talia brings a whimsical, stylized maturity to her work that some photographers only dream of capturing. The young artist has already experienced her work being published and shown in galleries worldwide and Canadian Art Magazine recently named Shipman as one of Toronto’s artists to watch and with her Stripped series, she’s showing us why.

Get out your checkbooks and join us for a drink on May 4th @ 7:00pm to kick off the final week of our first exhibit at Dessinee.

If you can't make it Monday, be sure to get yourself down to the gallery before May 11th to silently bid on your favourite pieces.

Each work has a secret reserve price set by the artist. To submit a bid, a bid submission form must be complete in full with accompanying form of valid payment/deposit.
On May 11, 2009 Dessinee will award the works to the highest bidder.

We are only accept bid cancellations on submission received prior to May 10th at noon.
