26-06-2009 . Few days after the small MICKEY JACKSON MOUSE creation, Mickey Mouse version designed for the Walt Disney Company, this morning we received the sad news that Michael Jackson has died. The artists of atelier Alessio Blanco and friends met to decide the fate of this little artwork: a tribute? Mickey Mouse was born as anthropomorphic mouse and from its origins until today has evolved to meet the aesthetic taste of a society in constant transformation. Continuing this process, now Mickey Mouse wants to complete his transformation into a man and then turns to plastic surgery.

Ce matin, peu de jours après la création du petit MICKEY JACKSON MOUSE , une version Mickey Mouse conçue pour la compagnie Walt Disney, nous avons reçu la triste nouvelle que Michael Jackson est mort. Les artistes de l'atelier Alessio Blanco et ses amis se sont réunis pour décider du sort de cette petite oeuvre d'art: un hommage? Mickey Mouse est conçue en tant que souris anthropomorphique et de ses origines jusqu'à aujourd'hui, a évolué pour répondre à l'esthétique du goût d'une société en constante transformation. Dans la poursuite de ce processus, maintenant Mickey veut compléter sa transformation en un homme et se tourne ensuite vers la chirurgie plastique.

BRUCANIO ARTE - BERGAME

Collettiva degli artisti: MICHAEL ALFORD EMANUELA FERA PATRIZIA MASSERINI

La Galleria Bucranio Arte inaugurerà sabato 27 giugno, alle ore 18.00, una mostra collettiva degli artisti Michael Alford, Emanuela Fera e Patrizia Masserini. L’esposizione sarà ospitata nelle sale del Museo Cividini in Città Alta fino al 4 luglio. I dipinti in mostra sono opera di artisti conosciuti non solo a livello locale, ma anche internazionale. Le due artiste bergamasche, Patrizia Masserini ed Emanuela Fera, sono già da molti anni note negli ambienti d’arte della provincia di Bergamo, del territorio nazionale e non solo, grazie al loro stile ben riconoscibile: l’una con un uso graffiante e introspettivo del colore e con tematiche sempre molto attuali e intimistiche; l’altra grazie a opere uniche nel suo genere, grazie all’utilizzo di materiali diversi e a una tecnica particolare, tutelata da brevetto d’invenzione. Una presenza straniera, l’inglese Alford, arricchisce lo scenario della pittura figurativa nel nostro territorio: si tratta di un artista conosciuto e apprezzato a livello internazionale, che utilizza un linguaggio molto moderno, ma con richiami romantici.

EDINBURGH ANNUALE 09 - EDINBURGH

Dear all,

Just a quick message to let you know what is happening this busy ANNUALE weekend.

Tomorrow (Friday) evening there are 2 openings Blown Away opens 6-8 pm at 9 Gillespie Place and Heavy Metal Mouth 6-9pm at 4 Torphichen St.

Temporarily occupying a shop space, 'Blown Away' presents a series of new ink drawings from Edinburgh-based artist Zoe Fothergill, and photographs and sculptural installations that explore the grounds of a long abandoned stately home in the Highlands, from artist Mairi Taylor.

On Saturday at 2 the Embassy will have James McLardy and George Ziffo in conversation talking about the current show Facade Within and there practices.

On Saturday evening If it's hot it's here opens 7-9pm at 136 Bruntsfield Place (please note change of venue) cocktails provided by Martin Miller Gin.

Then to round off the weekend you are invited down for tea and cakes at the closing party of Aumma Aumma at 32 2F1 Sandport St.

Group show featuring work of local and international artists with a shared interest in the built environment. Exhibiting artists include Stefano Calligaro, Francesco Cassi, Mattia Matteucci, Shona Macnaughton, Emma Pratt, Ash Reid, Sarah J Tingle and Sara Visconti.

Also still open are Simulator-Stimulator-Stimulator-Simulator, Grey Matter, We don't have a manifesto we do have hangups, No Fixed Abode, Embassy Screen and the Reckoning.

Coltivando, da sempre, la passione per l'arte contemporanea e la tecnologia informatica, ha seguito sin dagli esordi il movimento digitalista. Con l'utilizzo del programma artweaver, è riuscito a coniugare queste sue passioni e, superando l'iniziale tentazione del fotoritocco, ha da subito cominciato a rielaborare forme e colori realizzando pitture digitali frutto di sperimentazione come autodidatta. Elaborazioni digitali che, dal 2008, presenta in collettive e personali con un positivo riscontro di critica e pubblico.
Alle elaborazioni digitali affianca l'utilizzo di acrilici e colle termofusibili, per la realizzazione di pitture astratte.
La sua attuale ricerca è volta all’espressione di una nuova sintesi di astrattismo ed al perseguimento di un equilibrio tra forma, luce e colore, privilegiando le dissolvenze tonali.
