La neozelandese emergente Veronica Green ci racconta, attraverso il linguaggio della pittura, il suo mondo arricchito di sogni e paradisi armonici in cui magia, fascino e spiritualità sono i fili conduttori.
Le sue tele sono caratterizzate da profondi segni distintivi: castelli incantati, animali, scale che portano all’ignoto, luci alternate a riflessi e ombre; ogni oggetto ci riconduce ad un segnale ben preciso.
Una realtà coinvolgente che rapisce lo spettatore e lo trasporta nell’interpretazione di un mondo quasi fatato in cui sperimentare le sensazioni più diverse e, a volte, antitetiche: amore, passione, desiderio, piacere o peccato e disperazione.

Colori acrilici vivaci, alternati a tonalità più sfumate, interventi materici di foglia d’oro o d’argento, inserimenti di filo, sfumature di vernice spray: il tutto si armonizza in un insieme omogeneo, a costruire una tela che riesce a celare il suo profondo fascino.
I paesaggi rappresentati sembrano, in un primo momento, affascinanti e intrisi di quell’atmosfera fiabesca che conduce ognuno di noi al sogno: ma, in un secondo momento, i simboli guida, di cui l’artista è profondamente conoscitrice, trascinano lentamente l’attimo rappresentato in un’atmosfera cupa. "Forbidden cities": a perfect title for the synthesis of an emerging artist’s work who enchants, fascinates and traps the observer in her paintings.
The New Zealander emerging artist, Veronica Green, tells us, throughout the painting’s language, her world enriched with dreams and harmonious heavens in which magic, charm and spirituality are the guidelines.
Her paintings are characterized by deep distinctive signs: enchanted castles, animals, stairs which take you to unknown lands, light alternates from reflections to shadows; each object provides us with a very precise signal.
An involving reality which captivates the observer and takes them in to the interpretation of a quiet magic world in which they can experiment the most different, sometimes paired, sensations: love, passion, desire, pleasure, sin and dispair.
An unforgettable sensation is to totally dive into Veronica Green’s world to observe and grasp from her paintings everything that our mind alone is not able to reach. Very often it is obstructed by free thought, because it’s restricted by the conditions that our society gives us.
Bright acrylic colours, alternate with more faded tonalities, materialistic interventions of gold and silver leaf , stichings of cotton, shades of spray paint: everything matches in an homogenous whole to create a painting which is able to hide a deep charm.
The landscape represented seems to be, at first glance, fascinating and enriched by a fairy tale which takes each one of us to a dream: but, in a second moment, the guiding symbols, in which the artist is high level of experience, slowly drags the represented moment in to a gloomy athmosphere.
